Full-body-exercises for runners and triathletes


As a runner, you have to train your whole body, because running is a full-body-activity. 
Of course you have to strengthen your core, your glutes and your hamstrings.
Don´t train one muscle after another. 
Your muscles and your body is a "connective chain". So use it as a connective chain.


Good full-body-exercises for runners and triathletes are:

- Squats  (with or without extra weight)
- Single Leg Squat / Pistol  (see extra posting)
- Plank and Side-Plank
- Single Leg Deadlift  
- Split Squats 

- Lunges and Overhead-Lunges
- Lateral Lunges


Full-body-activity needs full-body-training

Trainingsinhalte nach Vereinbarung / in jedem Fall findet im Rahmen des ersten Termins ein Bewegungstest (Functional Movement Screen / FMS) statt (Dauer: etwa 20 – 25 Minuten)
